OWW, OWW and OWW
Yesterday Hax and I went to the Scotts for the morning. When we got there all 4 of us went into Sarahs room to write down some ideas of what we'd so that day. We finaly decided to give Milly a groom and then go up to the cow shed to have morning tea. In the end Kath and HA took the dogs while I rode Milly up. Sarah wanted to keep Mill(y) on the grass as much as she could. So she was leading her when we came to a tree which overhung the track. I tried to push the branches out of the way but fell off landing on my back. This winded me and I thought Milly was about to walk on me so I got up. I fell over again on my face and hit one of two rocks which were on the track at this point. I don't really remember this happening either but it is what I've been told happened. Bryce Scott, Richards Dad came over to me when Katherine went to get him. Luckily, he had been passing by on the track. Sarah brought down Robyn and I was apparently fitting on the ground. Anyway, Robyn took me to the doctors and Dad came while I was there. The doctor gave me a thorough examination and declared me fit apart from all the blood and snot. My nose suffered worst, although I also have a fat lip and grazes all over the left side of my face. This is what I look like now:

My poor baby!!
Hi Alice, Helen here from Cambridge. Your face looks so sore you poor thing. Perhaps its a good thing you cannot remember anything? Take care XX
the only good horse is a dead horse preferably at the bombay pet food factory.you will heal up alright.richard
You've done a pretty good job of it. Think of it as character building. It'll heal soon enough and then you can laugh about it. Take Care Bloo x
I bet daddy was sympathetic ! Just don't pick it or it'll scar. Big Hug Alice, love Helen
2 falls down.
6 to go.
8 before you're a REAL rider.
Speedy recovery & get back on a neddy IMMEDIATELY.
Cx
Hope you are feeling better by now, You still look beautiful to us, love you lots, Grandma & Grandma.
Carol you said that the first one didn't count. I agree. This one also doesn't. That makes 8 still to go louse. As for the sympathy side Hx, I did my fatherly bit and laughed out loud. Why is everyone so ouzie woozy she fell off the horse! Then she fell over, that is how she damaged her face! I agree with Richard, when you want the horse steak mate, let me know, rather nice normnally, but Milly may be a bit tough. Eric (in case anyone was in any doubt!)
Richard, you are so cruel. Itwasn't Mills fault! Carol, I'll get on a neddy asap. (Prefrably with a hat on!!!!).
Helen, NO WAY WAS DAD SYMPERTHETIC!!!!! When he came into the doctors he gave me squeze on the shoulders and that was IT!!!!
Tough as old Boots just like the OLD MAN..
Get well soon
Sean V
Maybe a full face motor bike helmet is called for here, for the after falls! Long as you weren't concussed Alice you will be OK. Grifb
It sorta sounds like it was the tree and not the horse that led to your downfall, so I'm probably with Eric - doesn't really count. What sort of tree was it? I bet it was a Totara. Prickly leaves. Perhaps you need a smaller horse, like one of those hobbit ones, so you're not so high up.
Oh well, at least you have something interesting to write for "What I did in the holidays" when you get back to school.
Don't forget to get back on the horse.
D-Man.
Dad, this 1 did so count !!!!! At least Iwas moving!
Oh dear Alice you did a good job. That will be a great photo for Mum and Dad to trot out at your 21st.
Hope you are feeling better now that all your wounds are healing.
Love
Milky's Mum
